SUMMARY:Campagne de sensibilisation dans la ville de Niamtougou au Togo / Awareness campaign in the town of Niamtougou\, Togo
\n…………………………….. \nDuring the Christmas and New Year period\, increased consumption leads to an increase in household waste\, particularly packaging and other disposable products. This poorly managed waste presents environmental and health risks for communities. African Environmental Network\, in collaboration with the Association Action Développement Culture (ADC – Doufelgou)\, will be organizing an awareness campaign in the town of Niamtougou\, Togo\, from December 23 to 24\, 2024\, to raise residents’ awareness of good waste management practices during this festive period. \nThis activity is in line with the “Togo Propre” operation decreed by the government since 2017\, which aims to “make neighborhoods more liveable” and contribute to the cleanliness of cities throughout the country\, but also to empower neighborhood residents in the maintenance and sanitation of their living environment\, and involve them more in local development.
