African Climate Justice and Education Week (ACJEW)

Overall Objective

Contribute to the increase of African actions to reduce climate injustices through capacity building and awareness-raising

Specific Objectives

• Raise awareness and build the capacity of at least 100 Africans on key regional themes
• Promoting green entrepreneurship through climate education
• Present ways to reduce climate inequality at the structural, socio-economic and intergenerational levels
• Stimulated climate action among schools, academics, faiths and other social strata through awareness raising and training.

Methodology:

The Africa Climate Justice and Education Week will take place in two stages: a regional workshop and national workshops.

The general coordination holds the regional workshop while national workshops will be held according to the format chosen and adopted by the different focal points of African Environmental Network.
